If you don't give a damn, you'll get the beta on your iDevices in no time. As always, if a stable system and properly functioning apps are important to you, you should wait until the final release in autumn. Since July 2022 there have also been public beta versions of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, which you can try out if necessary. In version 16, the iPhone and iPad learn again a lot of new things, like the overhauled lock screen for the iPhone or the Stage Manager multitasking on the iPad - well, at least on the newer ones M1 iPads. Midsummer is coming and with it the new iOS and iPadOS betas.
